The Town of Sahuarita is accepting arguments both "for" and "against" the ballot measures that will be included on the July 21, 2026, Primary and Special Election ballot. These arguments will be included in the Town's Publicity Pamphlet, which will be sent to every household in Sahuarita with a registered voter in June 2026. To be included in the Publicity Pamphlet, arguments, and payments must be received by the Sahuarita Town Clerk on or before 6:00 PM on April 22, 2026.

Argument Submission
Ballot arguments may not exceed 300 words. The argument will appear in the Publicity Pamphlet exactly as entered. Please ensure spelling, capitalization, and grammar prior to submitting the argument. Any special formatting will be removed before publication in the Publicity Pamphlet.
Signers and Sponsors
Each argument filed shall contain the sworn statement of each person sponsoring it. If the argument is sponsored by an organization, it shall contain the sworn statement of two executive officers of the organization, or if sponsored by a political committee, it shall contain the sworn statement of the committee's chairman or treasurer. The person or persons signing the argument shall identify themselves by giving their residence or post office address and a telephone number, which information shall not appear in the publicity pamphlet. Cost
A payment of $250.00 per argument is required to offset a portion of the cost of paper and printing the Publicity Pamphlet.

To submit an argument, you must upload a PDF of the signed argument and a sworn statement to the Argument Submission Portal. For credit card payments, visit us in person or call to pay via phone.
