Voter Information - 2024

General Election November 5, 2024 

Town of Sahuarita Propositions 

The Town of Sahuarita will hold a Special Bond and Franchise Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.  In this election, registered voters who reside in the Town of Sahuarita will vote on five Town of Sahuarita propositions.  These propositions will appear on the ballot for the General Election, which is being conducted by the Pima County Elections Department.  

  • Proposition 403 relates to voter authorization to sell up to $66,000,000 in general obligation bonds for parks and recreation, police/public safety, and infrastructure projects.
  • Proposition 404 relates to a franchise agreement with Southwest Gas Corporation for the use of public rights-of-way in the Town of Sahuarita, Arizona, to provide natural gas, hydrogen, and artificial gas within said Town.
  • Proposition 405 relates to a franchise agreement with Community Water Company of Green Valley to use public rights-of-way in the Town of Sahuarita, Arizona, to supply water within said Town.
  • Proposition 406 relates to a franchise agreement with Global Water – Farmers Water Company, Inc., to use public rights-of-way in the Town of Sahuarita, Arizona, to supply water within said Town.
  • Proposition 407 relates to a franchise agreement with Global Water – Las Quintas Serenas Water Company, Inc., to use public rights-of-way in the Town of Sahuarita, Arizona, to supply water within said Town.

Registration

Pima County registration and voting lists will be used for Town elections. Voter registration forms are available from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday – Thursday, in the Town Clerk Department; or by calling the Pima County Recorder’s Office, 520-724-4330. Voters may also download the registration form or register online through ServiceArizona

Voters may contact the Pima County Recorder’s Office at 520-724-4330 or 520-724-4320 (TDD), to find out whether they are eligible to vote in a Town of Sahuarita election.

The last day to register to vote before the General Election is October 7, 2024.

Active Early Voter List (AEVL)

AEVL allows a voter to make a single request to receive early ballots by mail for all future elections in which the voter is eligible to vote.  Ballots for the General Election will be mailed to voters on the AEVL beginning October 9, 2024.
